Who we are?
IRF Productions was officially started on March 7, 2004. (although my cohorts and I have been meeting since Feburary 5th, 2004.)
What does IRF stand for? Well, why ask one third of the equation? Why not ask the other two thirds? In fact, let me tell you about my new best friends, Angelo and Louie.
Let me start with Angelo.
Name: Angelo Rosa
Age: 21
Eerily resembles: AC Slater from Saved By the Bell
Yes, you heard right, he looks like Mario Lopez and yes we have the same last name! (In fact, I love telling people that he's my cousin!)
I met Angelo through Louie. Once Louie and I decided that we wanted to make our own company, Louie asked if another person could join us. I thought the more the merrier! I had no idea what I was getting into to!! Life is a whole lot more different when you spend almost every night with two men. (As Louie put it, "It's not a meeting until one of us farts!")
Not to say that since Feburary everything has been teas and crumpets! No way-we've had plently a tiff, but at the same time we've had some great moments! (getting the website, meeting with Russ, the 1st all nighter we pulled at my house.) In fact, it's really difficult to just talk about either guy without mentioning the other.
Let me tell you a little about Angelo's edumacation.. he went to Memorial High School (YUP with Sysol, and with me had I not moved!) From there our little Angelo headed off to the University of New Hampshire where he did.... DIRECTING! (Honestly, if we weren't cousins I'd hit on the boy-did I mention he's half Puerto Rican and half Italian(and you know know how I feel about half Italians-hoo hoo!) At UNH he directed 5 plays and wrote 2. (His genre-comedy! Perhaps we could make an action comedy movie together?)He was also in two commerials-one NFL one. Which I might add he still wears the clothes from, and likes to show it off too! He now works at Pizzeria Unos in Secaucus-so if you are in the neighborhood, stop by! AND TIP WELL!
What Angelo had to say about IRF (this will be in our official site)
"I guess you can say it started in High School. I was selected to be in a play called the "Pajama Game". After that show I realized I didn't want to be an actor, but a director. The next year I went to school at the University of New Hampshire and took film theory. I wrote 3 plays and directed 5. After that I took a leave of absence from school for a semester. Then I met Louie and Amanda and since then I started working on our production company, IRF.
