With Mum and Mickey at the Silly Symphony area, Fantasyland
It's a true fairy-tale experience! Fantasyland is probably the most magical of the lands at Disneyland, as well as being one of Walt's favourites. It's the one the most people head towards when they enter the park, and that's not just a result of its location, pretty much in the centre of the park. It's easy to see why Fantasyland is so popular - it's beautiful, magical, happy and friendly.
The centrepiece of this land is the magnificent and majestic Sleeping Beauty's Castle, renamed in 1959 from the name it was given in 1955 - Snow White's Castle. Attractions include the famous Dumbo the Flying Elephant Ride, It's a Small World, Peter Pan's Flight - imho, one of the best attractions in the park - and the Mad Tea Party, as well as having rides based on classics like "Snow White" and "Pinocchio".
One of the most enchanting rides is the Storybook Land Canal Boats, with miniature villages and castles straight from some of Walt Disney's classic fairy tales.
Some of the best stores in the park are also found in this land, including the Tinker Bell Toy Shoppe and the new Villains Lair.
Fantasyland has a quaint story-book atmosphere which makes you feel like you've stepped into a fairy tale.
Besides, where else can you meet so many princesses at once?
