I probably wouldn't be including negative reviews of Disney movies on this page anyway, but have you noticed how there's never a bad review of a Disney movie? The worst they get graded is average. At least, I've never come across a bad one.
These reviews are taken from magazines or newspapers without permission and are here simply for your entertainment, and so you can bask in the wonder that is a critic who gives a good review to a Disney movie.
"4 stars ... This super-cute story is yet another Disney winner... the film stands as a little piece of magic that's guaranteed to cheer you up."
"Overflowing with action, colour and great songs, The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a must-have for any video collection."
"Mulan was a five-year undertaking which will reaffirm your belief that Disney really is a magical kingdom. Mulan brings back a part of Disney's soul. Its srength of character, voice, and even song, this time around make a bona fide classic."
"Great songs, a soaring epic vision that manages to blend computer and traditional animation to super effect, and a loveable cast of characters."
"4 stars ... Disney's animated version of the jungle hero swings high."
"Disney's animators and writers have revitalised Edgar Rice Burroughs' tale of the ape man in a tale bound to enthrall."
"A colourful triumph of the animator's art to thrill a new generation. Disney's skilled team return to the artistic high of the Lion King."
"A spectacular technical feast. Fantasy assumes reality."
"This is a terrific animated feature for the whole family. There's excitement and adventure at every turn - and just a touch of romance. A simple, pacey story and, like all the Disney animations, the voices are spot on."
"5 stars. It was a hard act to follow, but the computer-animated sequel to the original Toy Story proves even more entertaining. The team bring the sort of reality you'd expect from human actors to their cartoon which surely will be considered a classic of its kind, as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was to audiences almost 60 years ago. It's almost impossible to recall a film that keeps a smile on your face as continuously as this inspired, heart-warming and brilliantly funny movie does. There's surprising depth to this storyline, too. Don't let the kids have all the enjoyment that's created by this instant Pixar classic."
"A sequel to the wonderful Toy Story that's just as delightful and clever as the first. The animation is awesome. Colourful and fast-paced for the kids, with in-jokes for the adults, this movie is a sure-fire holiday hit. It's not often you can say a sequel to a smash-hit is just as good, but here you can. The attention to detail is dazzling - from the hilarious script right up to the technical brilliance of the computer animation. 5 stars."
The people at Disney has made another "children's movie" that adults will enjoy. "The Tigger Movie" is warm, funny, and entertaining. This is one of the few movies I have seen in a long time that I left the theater with a big smile, glad I saw it in a theater, and thinking, "That is a GOOD movie!"
The artwork is beautiful as it is in most Disney movies. The details on the characters is phenomenal, especially Eeyore. The expressions on his face could speak volumes. The songs are good, well written, near infectious tunes. It is hard not to hum along with Pooh's "Bee Lullaby."
It was nice to see a movie with out violence, cursing, sexual innuendoes, that did not make a statement, or insult your intelligence. Just go, sit back, relax, forget the world, enjoy yourself, and have fun. TTFN.
Thanks Robert!
