Synopsis
from Lead Rain Entertainment

The world is dead and rotting.
A mysterious phenomenon has transformed the populace into a mindless,
flesh-eating army of undead monstrosities.
The last few remaining humans on Earth scrape out a
living among the ruins of the past.
As their supplies and ammunition run dry, they are forced
into a final, lethal confrontation with the ever-growing undead horde.

Date: Today.
6 months after the dead rose...

When the dead first started coming back, no one took
it seriously. In the beginning, they hardly moved at all,
just staggered around. When the tabloids picked up the story,
nobody thought it could be real. Then they started biting
people. And eating them.

After it really got rolling, things went downhill pretty fast.
Everyone that had a heart attack, was shot looting, or
was killed by those things got up and made more
of them, and the only way to kill them again
was to destroy their brain. The President declared martial law
and said to stay in our homes, but It's been
a week since I saw a soldier or cop.
A few weeks ago my roommate Martin left to be
with his folks. He said they had a bunch of
supplies left over from the Y2K scare. Maybe I'll be
safe with them, if I can find them.

I wish I had a ride. I've been on the
road for 2 days now, on foot. Don't have a car,
and don't know how to hotwire one, either. If I
keep moving, I can stay ahead of them, the dead I mean.
I leave them behind at night, but they're back by morning.
They don't sleep, they walk all night, and they're always there.
How do they find me? It's like they can track by smell.
They sure can hear good. The one time I used
my gun to kill one, every walking corpse for three
miles headed my way. I'll have to use the
bat from now on.

It can't be far now. I'll hole up with Martin
at his place, with his folks and who ever else
is around. We'll barricade ourselves in with our supplies while
the dead wait outside. It'll be like an old time siege,
when an army would wait outside the walls of a fort
or a castle for the people inside to run out of
food and water. Only this time the army outside is
dead, and they don't want any prisoners.
