Highlander Endgame starts out with Connor walking on the streets of New York. We see Rachel Ellenstein walking into his antique shop. The phone rings. She picks it up. Connor looks up at the antique shop. Suddenly it blows up.
We cut to 16th century Scotland. Villagers from Glenfinnan are taunting Connor to come out of his home. Connor decides to go back to Glenfinnan to rescue his mother. Heather begs him not to go. Connor tells her that everything will be alright.
Connor arrives at the village to find his mother lying in bed. It is a trap. Several villagers break into the room and attack him. Among them is Father Rainey and his son, Jacob Kell. Connor pleads with Kell, as they were once best friends. Kell says he brought this on himself. As punishment for harboring a demon, his mother is burned at the stake, while Connor watches. Connor breaks out and kills father Rainey and Jacob.
We cut to Present Day, "The Sanctuary". A posse of immortals ride up to the building on motorcycles.
