Spillin' the Plot:

You think your in control of your life when BOOM! The Wachowski Brothers show you what’s really going on! You will take a journey “down the rabbit hole” with a cool bunch dressed in leather outfits. This movie will help you realize we have lost to the machines once A.I. is developed. The machines overcame the human race and found a way to “grow us” to be used as a power plant. The machines created life, as we know it. The Matrix! A super program that keeps us imprisoned in our own minds. But there is a group of people trying to defeat the machines. Morpheus, the leader of the rebellion does everything in his power to free “The chosen one”, Neo. With the help of Trinity and other members of the team, they manage to pull Neo out of the Matrix and into the real world. Like Alice in Wonderland, there are twists and turns and very cool effects through out this movie as the team fights to free Human kind.   

What did it do for me?

I liked everything about this movie! Even the way they dressed was cool as hell! I found myself absorbed as if I was part of the team. The idea of life being an elaborate deception of all of us being controlled by super intelligent machines made me pinch myself a few times just wondering if this was for real or not… I think I even felt the back of my head for ports :)
This was a fast paced movie with no boring spots! Kept my attention every second. The way Morpheus and Trinity pulled Neo out of the Matrix was perfect! Sure kept me thinking. Once Neo took that red pill the ride began. The reality of life as we know it became a mystery all in it own. I would love to be able to learn things like Neo did during his “training”. This is defiantly on the top of my favorite movie list!
     

You need a woman’s opinion? Here is what my wife thinks of The Matrix:
*Christal – Great movie, 2 thumbs up. This movie has a very interesting concept. Personally I think I’d take the blue pill where life was normal and food tasted like food and not goo. On the other hand, taking the red pill releases you to a world where learning a new skill was as easy as downloading a program into your mind. On another note, Keanu Reeves is HOT! His moves alone are reason to watch.
 

My little girls seemed to enjoy this movie also. The fast paced action and never ending mystery kept them occupied the whole way threw. Of course they made me hit pause so I can get them popcorn… In three separate bowls of course!
   

CARRIE-ANNE MOSS (Trinity) was very HOT! My goodness, what a body! She wore a skintight leather suit that really got my attention. I told Christal she has to go out and buy one of those! She just had that “I’m in control attitude” and her look was awesome. See for yourself at the bottom of this page!

The music during this movie was as cool as the movie its self! Fast Techno type sounds that complimented the feeling of the movie and the look of the characters. I want that music to play in the back ground while I’m at work. I think it would liven the place up! People would be running horizontally up the walls, it would be great!
   

GREAT MOVIE! Buy it, rent it, borrow it, do what ever it takes to add this one to your collection! Your DVD player deserves this one; can’t you hear it calling out to you? “Buy The Matrix!” Absolutely one of my favorite movies.
