I struggled and continue to do so over weathering the Gekko heavy or very lightly. I let it sit for a day or so and see how it settles in. It can always be changed.
The paint chips are just MM Metalizer Aluminum plate put on with a 10/0 brush.
The pictures do not look quite as good as the model itself, and looks over done in the pictures.
After paint chips a ink wash in all the panel lines and the excess washed clean.
Although it is not done the basic weathering is.
After it dries the ink stains will be faded with a super thin exterior color and special sauce.
The wings turnned out well.
Overhead view.
This in the middle of weathering and they always look bad.
The finish plane will be toned down.
More to come.
