Dear Journal, I had a nice day today. I took Max to Anna's house, and then I went to the doctor. There, I learned that I was pregnant again. To tell you the truth, it came to me as a surprise. I really didn't think that I was pregnant, but I did have the symptoms and to be on the safe side, I wanted to go. Dr. Mackenzie told me to come back in two weeks with Max to see how we are both doing. After that, I decided to go to the beach. I know it might sound selfish, but the beach is a place where I can recap on my feelings, and figure things out. I thought about how I was going to tell Jack that we are going to have another child. I spent about a half-hour there, and then decided to go and get Max. I told Anna the good news and she remarked with the comment, "My goodness, Rose. It seems only yesterday that you just delivered Max, and now you're pregnant again." I laughed, and soon after Max and I were back at home. Max was asleep when I picked him up so I just placed him in the rocking crib. Soon after that, my dear Jack came home with a smile on his face. I smiled back and he kissed me. He knew something was up. We sat down on the couch, and I told him the wonderful news that I was pregnant again. He was as excited when I told him that I was pregnant with Max. His face lit up; he smiled, and kissed me passionately. I then cooked him supper, and we ate together as Max lay in his rocking crib asleep. And now, I am writing at our desk in Jack and my room. Jack is asleep already since he's very tired. I suppose that I should go to sleep too. Good-night.
