after numerous drunk driving violations Gordon Bombay is sentenced to community service work in Minneapolis coaching pee wee hockey he soon learns that winning isn't everything as he tries to turn this ragtag bunch of misfits once called District-5 now Mighty Ducks into pro's.............. after there first victory he is assigned to coaching the Junior Goodwill Games in Los Angeles with a few lost players gaininging some new players they gain thier second victory........after getting the Ducks scholarships at preppy Eden Hall Coach Bombay moves on leaving them with a new coach and losing a star player to there rival school team the Ducks work on their 3rd victory....
