The time for the resurection of the dark lord Kuei-Yan-Wang draws near, and the destruction of the world is at hand. Only one can stop him - the last of a mystical and immortal race, Pai of the Sanjiyan Unkara and her champion, Yakumo Fujii, the boy marked with the sign of the void.
Finally reunited after years of searching, Yakumo and Pai's hidden memories and unleash the full extent of her power. Their destination is the Lost City of the Sanjiyan, where the Gate of Lost Time holds the key to the mysteries of Pai's past - and future of the world. With the aid of a mystical monk and a disreputable treasure hunter, they make their way into the perilous lands surrounding the Lost City - but dark forces stand in their way.
The ultimate battle is fast approaching, but will Pai's mystical heritage save them all, or doom the earth to destruction?
