Honoured. Acclaimed. Controversial.
22nd November 1963. John F. Kennedy, 35th President of the United
States, was shot dead. It was the day that marked the end of an era,
when New Orleans District Attorney Jim Garrison (Kevin Costner) began
what was to become an obsessive pursuit of the truth. They tried to stop
him asking who. They tried to keep him from asking why. They did not
succeed.
JFK - the story that won't go away. Director, co-writer, Oliver Stone has
added 17 minutes of footage to the movie, lending a new excitement to the
mosaic of Jim Garrison's turbulent investigation of President John F.
Kennedy's murder.
