3 GUYS, A GIRL, AND A ROSE
Chapter Twenty-Seven

Tommy and Fabrizio picked Christina up at 8:30. They were going to the movies and then dinner. Christina only picked up her phone when she saw it was Tommy or Fabrizio. She saw that her cell phone had tons of missed calls from Jack. Her caller ID read his number.

"Hey guys." She said gladly when she saw Tommy and Fabrizio. They smiled back at her, both hugging her.

"Are you ready?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah, because we can't be waiting for you forever." Fabrizio said.

"I should make you wait Fabrizio." Christina said. Fabrizio grabbed her around the waist.

"Let's get out of here." Fabrizio said.

Tommy opened his car door.

"Ladies first. Meaning you, Fabrizio." Christina laughed. So far enjoying herself. Fabrizio rolled his eyes.

"Whatever. I'll get in the back." Fabrizio said. Christina got in the passenger seat.

"You have any CD's in here Tommy?" Christina asked.

"Yeah, I have Lifehouse in there."

"Oh yay! I love Lifehouse." Christina was excited that she could listen to her favorite band.

"We all know you do!" Fabrizio said. "Like oh my God. Doesn't the lead singer have the nicest ass?" Christina and Tommy broke out in laughter.

"You go that way, Fabri?" Tommy asked.

"We love you, Fabri!" Christina turned around and blew Fabrizio a kiss.

"Yeah! You gotta love the Italian stallion!" Fabrizio said.

"It's really the luck of the Irish that gets the girl to go wild!" Tommy said. Christina laughed. Tommy had his hand on the stick and Christina placed her hand on top of his. Tommy looked at her looking out the window. She turned around and gave him a warm smile.

The rest of the car ride they continued to joke around. Christina forgot about Jack. Forgot about everything.

*****

Jack woke up at ten o‘clock. He looked up and saw Rose still sleeping. She looked so beautiful and peaceful. He looked at her, admiring her beauty. A few minutes later she woke up.

"Hey beautiful," Jack said.

"Hey. What time is it?" Rose asked. Jack looked at his watch.

"10:03."

"Are you hungry? I'll order Chinese. It's not late."

"It's never late in New York." Rose smiled.

"I'll go get the menu." Jack sat up on the couch. Thankful that he wasn't alone. He had called Fabrizio to see what he was doing. Fabrizio said he was gonna be with Tommy and Christina. Jack knew very well that he wasn't welcome. Fabrizio had tried convincing him to come. He felt better off with Rose.

"What do you want Jack?" Rose yelled out in the other room.

"Whatever you're going to have."

"Alright."

Jack looked at the pictures in the living room. Pictures of Rose as a little girl. Her family pictures.

"Alright, they'll be here in half an hour." Jack turned around to see Rose. Smiling at her. "What are you smiling at me for?" She asked.

"You are so beautiful." Rose blushed.

"You flatter me Jack." Jack went up to her, grabbing her waist. Rose smiled at him. Jack hasn't felt so happy before. Especially with everything that had been happening. Jack leaned down and kissed her. The best kiss he ever had.
