3 GUYS, A GIRL, AND A ROSE
Chapter Twenty-Eight

Tommy, Christina, and Fabrizio went to T.G.I. Friday's after the movies. Christina was overjoyed, happy to be with Tommy and Fabrizio.

"I'll be back. I have to use the little boy's room." Tommy excused himself from the table and went to the bathroom.

"How are you doing Chris?" Fabrizio asked. He had been very concerned about her.

"I'm feeling great." Christina said. Her smile was wide. She hadn't smiled so much in a while.

"That's always good."

"I always love to hang around with my two best boys!"

"The pleasure is ours."

"I've only left the hospital today and I'm absolutely fine."

"Good thing it wasn't anything major."

"Couldn't have made it without my boys!"

"Tommy was the one who saved you. Picked you up and rushed you into his car all the way out to the hospital."

"You still stood by me." Fabrizio held her hand. He only wished that she would speak to Jack. He had spoken to Jack earlier. Jack felt horrible. He could hear it in his voice. He tried convincing him to come, but Jack went to go see Rose.

Tommy had come back to the table sitting in his seat next to Christina. "What are you people talking about?"

"You're a hero, Tommy. My hero." Christina said. She kissed his cheek, Fabrizio noticed him glowing. As much as Fabrizio wanted her to talk to Jack, he really felt Tommy was best for Christina.

"It's no problem. I'll be your Superman. You've done a lot for me. Like for my birthday."

"A lap dance from Christina is worth millions." Fabrizio said.

"You wanted me to take my skirt off Fabri." Christina said.

"Would have gotten the crowd going. What’s the harm in that?" Fabrizio said.

"Yeah what would have been the harm in that?" Tommy asked, his arm over her shoulder.

The rest of the night they spent was the most fun Christina had. She wasn't depressed, and didn't even think about Jack for a second. She seemed far away from him. Jack was in another world to her. She didn't want to play his fool anymore. She just wanted to live her life.

The next day, Christina went to work. Mr. Smith said she could have rested at home and not come back to work for another week. She insisted to work, especially since she needed the money. He told her she was only able to work behind the bar and take as many breaks as she wanted to.

Tommy and Fabrizio picked her up. The whole car ride Christina held Tommy's hand. She felt safe with him and Fabrizio. She liked the idea of being closer to them, especially Tommy. He's been paying a lot of attention to her and it made her feel loved and comfortable.

The only one speaking to Jack was Fabrizio. Fabrizio and Jack had been best friends ever since Jack had come to New York. Things were changing now. He was starting to spend all his time with Rose.

"Okay, I'll be working behind the bar, so if you want to be served by me, stay at the bar." Christina said as they walked in.

"Will do." Fabrizio said. Tommy and Fabrizio followed her in, watching her take off her jacket. She handed it to Tommy, who said he'd hold it for her, and she went behind the bar.

"I've been wondering Christina, you're under the legal drinking age, how come you're able to work at a pub?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah why is that?" Fabrizio asked as well.

"My father is friends with Mr. Smith. When my family moved to Connecticut, they didn't want me to stay here, especially since I had no money. I was only an eighteen-year-old girl. Mr. Smith said he'd look after me, and he gave me the job. He only let me drink on Saint Patrick's Day."

"Interesting!" Fabrizio said.

"What do you guys want to drink?" She asked.

"I'll have a Heineken. That's the only beer I'll have. After that give me water." Tommy said.

"Miller light." Fabrizio said.

"Alright then!" Christina served them their drinks. She really wasn't working that much. She just spoke to them.

Half an hour later she looked up from the bar. Her heart turned to stone when she saw Jack. He walked in holding Rose's hands.

"Oh shit!" Tommy and Fabrizio looked at her weird.

"Whoa! Where'd that come from?" Tommy wondering why her face looked like she seen a ghost.

"That asshole just had to come here tonight! With that skank!" Tommy and Fabrizio turned around and saw who she was staring at. Jack and Rose sat at a table.

"You guys stay here! I'll go talk to him!" Fabrizio didn't want any trouble to start.

Christina's heart sank again. Just when everything was going good, it all got bad again.
