NEW DAY
Chapter One
Rose's eyes slowly opened to a cold night
sky. Though it was cold, she felt warmth and shifted her head towards her hand.
Jack was singing their song.
"Jack, where are the boats?" Rose
asked in a very weak voice.
Jack looked up at Rose. He was shivering, but
kept on a brave face. "They're coming back, trust me."
Suddenly, a light flashed on the young
couple. Jack turned his head slightly and saw them. "Come here!"
The flashlight fell upon two people looking
at them, trying to call for help.
Rose and Jack soon found themselves cuddled
together on a boat. Rose felt warm in the arms of Jack.
Morning was a long time to come. This was
something that they both knew.
