JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Thirteen

"Oh Rose, I just love them!" Dominique said as Rose showed her the new shoes she bought yesterday.

"Are we gonna go shopping today?" Tonya asked as she painted her fingernails on Rose's bedroom floor.

"Sure! I think we definitely should. I need some new hats," Dominique said.

They all laughed. "What Dom, did those other hundred of hats just disappear?" Tonya asked.

"Well, let's get ready to go," Rose said.

After they were all ready, they all went out into Dominique's car.

Once they got to the mall, they parked the car and went in.

"You guys, this is so much fun. It's been along time since it was just us three," Dominique said.

"Yeah, it's kinda like girls day out," Tonya said.

"Think again," Rose said as she pointed to Jack, Tommy and Fabrizio coming down the glass elevator.

"Oh great, do we have to shop with them to?" Dominique asked.

"Come on, I want to go talk to Tommy anyways," Tonya said as she pulled her friends with her to the elevator stop.

The door opened. "Hey girls," Fabrizo said.

Jack went right to Rose. "Hey Rosey."

"Hi sweetie," Rose said as she gave him a kiss.

"Pathetic," Fabrizio said.

Jack just kept smiling, like nothing was said.

"Can you come over tonight?" Rose asked.

"Sure, what time?"

"Um how bout' around eight."

"I'll be there," Jack said as he kissed Rose.

"Public place..." Fabrizio said.

"At least we didn't have sex on the beach!" Jack said.

"They like makin' bacon on the beach," Tommy whispered to Tonya.

"Look you guys, Fabrizio and I are just friends. It was just one of those, one night flings," Dominique said.

"Dominique's right," Fabrizio said.

The rest of the day they split up. The girls got to do their shopping and the guys continued clowning around.

Later that night...

"Jack, you're here," Rose said as she opened the door.

They both shared a kiss. "It's good to see you again."

"What do you wanna do?" Jack asked.

"Well, my mom's out of town on business, we have the whole house to ourselves. Can you spend the night?"

Jack smiled. "Sure, let me go call my uncle and tell him I'm spending the night at Fabrizio's."

Rose handed him the cordless phone.

After that, they went to the living room and sat on the couch together.

"I love you so much Rose," Jack said as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"I love you too," Rose said as she pulled him closer to him and they kissed.

They kept kissing and stripping each other's clothes until they heard the doorbell ring.

"I'll get it..." Rose said as she got up off the couch and went to the door, with Jack staying on the couch in his underwear.

She opened it. "Mother what are you doing here?" Rose said loud so Jack would hear it.

"Shit," Jack said as he ran to the closet and shut the door.

"Rose, let me in," Ruth said as she pushed the door open and walked into her house. "I decided to take the plane back tonight."

"Are you here alone?" Ruth asked.

"Uh...yeah."

"I need to hang up my coat," Ruth said.

"Mother, I'll do that for you," Rose said as she took her mother's coat.

Rose opened the door and through the coat in.

"Thank you Rose, I'm gonna go up to bed, will you be alright?"

"Yeah, goodnight Mom."

"Goodnight dear."

Rose went over to the closet. "Jack, I'm so sorry."

"Rose, it wasn't your fault," Jack said as he started to kiss her some more.

"Jack, my mother's right upstairs," Rose whispered.

"Ah, okay. I'll call you tomorrow," he said as he gave her one final kiss and left.

"What a day," Rose mumbled as she went up to her room to go to sleep.
