JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Seventeen

Rose decided to pick out a casual outfit for tonight. Her, Dominique, Jack, and Fabrizio were going to go over to Tommy's tonight to try to cheer him up, and get him out of this deep depression.

Rose heard a honk of a car outside and ran out the door.

"Hey Rose," Dominique said as she got into the car.

"Hi, are Jack and Fabrizio meeting us there?" Rose asked.

"Yep, actually they are probably already there. I hope Tommy's gonna be alright. I couldn't believe what you told me."

"I know," Rose said. "I can hardly believe it myself."

Once they got there they knocked on the door, and Fabrizio answered.

"Hey girls, Jack and Tommy are out on the deck," Fabrizio said. Then he whispered, "Tommy's very emotional."

Once they got out there, Rose said, "Hi Tommy, how you doing?"

Tommy smiled. "Better than I was, I guess. I'm definitely not worse."

"That's good," Dominique said.

They all started a conversation, trying to keep Tommy stable. They were talking about what they wanted to do when they're older.

"So...what are you going to do with your life Jack?" Dominique asked.

"Well, I'd like to travel the world."

Fabrizio started laughing.

"Shut up Fabri, really. I'd love to wake up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen, or who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up."

Rose smiled at Jack. "That sounds wonderful Jack."

"But in one condition..." Jack said. "If Rose here travels with me."

Fabrizio rolled his eyes.

"I'd love to," Rose said as she smiled at him again.

"I wanna go to the Olympics, in the year 2004," Dominique said.

"I'll get you some tickets," Fabrizio said.

"No, I mean I want to compete against the best gymnasts in the world."

"I think that's awesome Dom, you know you can. You are great at Gymnastics," Jack said.

"Thanks Jack, I'm almost an elite."

Rose noticed Tommy staring into space again.

"Tommy?"

Tommy's head shot up.

"You okay?" she asked.

"Yeah," he said. He would always have Tonya in his heart, but he knew that his life must go on. That's what Tonya would have wanted.
