JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME

Nineteen
The next day at
school, Rose and Dominique were at lunch talking about the trip.
"It's going to
be so much fun!" Dominique said.
"I know,"
Rose replied.
"I wish Tonya
was here to be with us..." Dominique said.
Rose didn't let her
smile fade. "Dom, you know that Tonya will be with us in spirit. Right now
she's up in Heaven laughing at the thought of Fabrizio in a speedo."
Both of the girls
started laughing. Fabrizio came up to the table and that made them laugh even
harder.
"What?"
Fabrizio asked.
They never quit
laughing.
"Nothing
Fabri," Rose said.
Jack and Tommy came
up to the table.
"Hey
girls," Tommy said.
Rose had to admit,
it was the best she has seen Tommy in a while. She knew the pain he must be
feeling inside, but he didn't let it show any more.
"This is gonna
be the best vacation ever!" Fabrizio said. "Well, maybe..." then
he thought about the beach house and Tonya.
"Dom, we need
to go shopping!" Rose said.
"Yeah, can you
go after school?"
"Yep."
"All you do is
shop," Tommy said as he threw a french fry at Dominique.
"Well we have
to because we need new outfits for the trip," Dominique said.
"Rose, I don't
think I've ever seen you wear the same outfit twice, you either Dom," Jack
said.
"Well, it'd be
embarrassing!" Dominique said which made Tommy roll his eyes.
The bell rings.
They all got up and
went to their next class.
After school...
Once Rose and
Dominique got to the mall they went right over to Radio Shack to brag to Shane
and Ryan that they were going on a trip. Shane and Ryan were two guys who
worked there that they talked to all the time because they were always at the
mall.
"Ryan! Get
your ass over here!" Dominique said as they entered the store.
"We're going
on a cruise ship!" Dominique said.
"Oh yeah,I
bet," Ryan said as he lifted some more boxes.
"Really we
are, we're leaving in a couple of weeks," Rose said.
Shane came over to
them.
"Hi
Shane," Dominique said.
"They really
are Ryan, Tommy told me," Shane said.
"We gotta
go," Rose said as she took Dominique's arm and dragged her out of the
store.
"Why did you
do that?" Dominique asked.
"Look who's
there," Rose said as she pointed toward the back or the store.
"Francis!"
They both laughed
as they thought of how Tonya told them to always leave the store if Francis was
there.
"Tonya's
laughing at us right now," Dominique said.
"I know she
is," Rose replied. "Wanna go to JC Penny's?"
"Sure,"
Dominique said as they walked to one of their favorite stores to try on
clothes.
