JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter
Twenty-One
Rose woke up early.
She smiled as she saw that everybody had fallen asleep last night in the same
room.
As Rose stood up to
stretch, she saw Jack open his eyes. Right when Jack saw Rose, Rose put her
finger over her lips, telling him to be quite. Then she waved him over to her.
Rose started to
kiss Jack. "Hey Jack, do you wanna go take a walk on the deck after we get
dressed?"
Jack smiled.
"That sounds wonderful."
Rose picked out a
casual dress to wear. She met up with Jack and they walked hand in hand to the
deck.
It wasn't that
crowded. They sat on one of the benches.
"It's so
beautiful today," Rose said.
"Not as
beautiful as you," Jack said.
Rose smiled. She
leaned up to kiss him.
"Rose, I wanna
show you something," Jack said.
Jack took Rose to
the bow of the ship. Jack remembered doing this when he went on a ship with his
parents.
"Close your
eyes, go on," Jack said as he leaded her to the railing.
"Step up onto
the railing," Jack said.
Rose did, with his
help.
"Hold on, keep
your eyes closed," Jack said. "Do you trust me?"
"I trust
you," Rose replied as she felt Jack raise her arms.
"Alright, open
your eyes," Jack said.
Rose gasped. She
couldn't believe how free she felt.
"I'm flying,
Jack."
She was flying,
flying with Jack and only Jack. She smiled as Jack put his chin on her
shoulder.
"Come
Josephine in my flying machine going up she goes, up she goes," Jack sang
into her ear.
Jack brought Rose's
arms down and they kissed. They had never kissed like this before.
They both knew that
they would be together forever. It was destiny.
