JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Thirty-Five

That night Rose was feeling terrible. Why did she yell at Jack like that? Why was she such a bitch? Was Jack ever going to forgive her? She didn't know. There was only one way to find out.

Rose went downstairs, where Jack was watching T.V. in the living room. Jack was layed out on the couch. Rose sat down on the chair next to it. Jack didn't say a word. He didn't even look at her.

"Jack..." Rose started. "I'm sorry."

Jack still didn't look at her. Rose just got up and walked back to her room. If he was going to completely ignore her, she wouldn't just stand around and try to get things right.

Rose sat down on her bed and turned on the radio. She decided to do some homework, a thing she didn't do that much on a Friday evening.

Rose listened to the radio. She couldn't believe her ears. She head Jack's voice.

"Hello Jack," the radio man said. "What would you like to request?"

"Uh, 'How do I Live' and I want to dedicate it to my girlfriend who is pretty mad at me right now. I want her to know I love her."

Rose's eyes were filled with tears. She immediantly jumped off her bed and ran out of her room. Jack was standing at the top of the stairway. She ran into his arms.

"Rose, I'm so sorry. For everything."

"Jack, everything was my fault. I'm sorry." Rose looked into his blue eyes. "But, why did you follow me at school?"

Jack smiled slightly. "You jump, I jump, remember? Rose, I can never turn away without knowing you'll be alright. That's all that I want."

Rose smiled and kissed him. She was so relieved his whole ordeal was over. She know had her angel back. "I love you, so much Jack."
