JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter
Four
Rose hear the bell
ring. Finally! It was the last period of the school day. She couldn't wait to
see Jack.
She went to her
locker to get all the books she needed for her homework. When she opened her
locker she was shocked to find a dozen red roses with a note on top of them
that read:
Rose,
These are for
you. I hope you like them. Remember, I will always love you no matter what.
Whenever I'm not with you my heart aches to hold you. I love you.

>Rose smiled.
Then she heard her friend come up behind her.
"Did you get
Jack's surprise?" Tonya asked.
"Tonya! Did
you give him the combination to my locker?" Rose asked.
Tonya nodded.
"I had to, man Rose I wish I had a boyfriend like yours! He's so
sweet."
"I know he
is..."
"I can't wait
until tonight! Tommy's taking me to dinner."
"Tommy
Ryan?"
"Yeah, he's
one of Jack's friend's isn't he?" Tonya asked.
"Yep. I hope
you two have fun."
"We will, I
gotta go. I'll call you," Tonya said as she walked off.
Then Rose felt
someone's arms come around her waist. He started to kiss her neck. She knew it
was Jack. She turned around.
"What the hell
do you think you're doing?" Rose said as she saw Caledon Hockley.
"Oh, come on
Rose! You know you like me better than that Dawson character," Cal said.
Rose gave him the
middle finger calmly, and walked away to find Jack.
Rose walked down to
third floor to Jack's locker and his back was turned towards her. She decided
she didn't want to tell Jack because she didn't want to worry him.
"Hello
Jack."
Jack turned around
and smiled. Rose walked closer to him. He kissed her passionately.
"Thanks for
the roses," Rose said.
"Your welcome.
Were you surprised?"
"Oh,
yeah."
"You need a
ride home, right?" Jack said.
"Yeah,
thanks."
They walked down to
the main entrance and then walked to Jack's truck.
"Jack, in
reply to your note..." Rose started.
"Yes?"
"I love you
too," Rose said as she smiled up at him.
Jack stopped and
kissed her for a long time. They finally got into the car and Jack drove her
home.
As Rose got out of
the truck, Jack kissed her goodbye and said he'd call her later.
As Rose walked into
the house she ran straight up to her room.
She opened us her
diary and wrote:
Dear Diary,
Jack and I are
getting pretty serious! I'm so crazy about him! He said he'd call me tonight. I
really do love him. I can't describe how I feel about him, all I can say is
he's indescribable. I love him with all my heart and soul.
Rose
Rose closed her
diary and tuned on the radio. She gasped as she heard the song "How do I
Live", the same song that Jack and her had danced to. Jack was even
calling it 'their song'.
After that Rose
decided to take a nap. She drifted off with dreams of Jack.
