JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Forty-One

"Mom, you look lovely," Rose said, looking at her mom in her gown in the mirror.

"Thank you Rose. I'm so nervous!" Ruth replied with a slight laugh.

"Ah," Rose said. "You'll be fine."

They both heard a knock on the door of the vestibule. "Come in!" Rose said.

It was Jack. "You ready to get married, Ruth?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

Jack smiled and shut the door. "Ready to go, mom?" Rose asked.

Ruth replied with a slight nod. She had no idea anybody could be this nervous.

Ruth and Rose walked to the beginning of the isle, getting ready for the ceremony. Ruth took a deep breath. This was it.

At the reception...

It looked beautiful. The reception was being held in a beautiful park. Rose smiled as she thought about how great her life was. Jack came up to her and lifted out his hand. "Wanna go on a walk?"

Rose smiled and he helped her up. They walked hand in hand on the trail that led along the park.

"How did you like the wedding?" Jack asked.

"It was beauitful. I hope our wedding is that pretty," Rose said, not thinking. Did Jack even think about them getting married? Jack saw the worried look on her face.

"I hope it is," he said as he kissed her on the cheek.

"Good news," Rose said. "Only 20 days of school left till summer."

"Good. This will be an awesome summer."

As they reached the end of the trail, they saw someone coming towards them.

"Rose!" Dominique yelled, coming up to her.

"What?"

"Your mother's getting ready to throw the bouquet!" Dominqiue said in excitement. "Come on!" she took Rose's hand and dragged her out of the chair.

A group of about 6 girls stood togther behind Ruth. Ruth closed her eyes and threw it high above her head. She turned around to see who had caught it.

It was Rose. Rose smiled and walked over and begin kissing Jack. Next one to get married? That didn't sound too bad.

"I was thinking..." Jack said. "Maybe we should have our own little honeymoon tonight."

Rose smiled. "Jack Dawson, you read my mind."
