JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Five

Rose sat down in her seat next to Tommy Ryan. It was the only class she had with him, History.

"Hey Rose," he said. "Here's a note from Jack."

"Thanks," Rose said as she took the note. She started to read it.

Rose, I miss you so much! Do you miss me? If you do I know how we can see each other. It might sound crazy, but hey, I AM crazy. Just tell the teacher you don't feel good and go to the nurse. I'll be there. Make it count, meet me there. I love you! Jack

Rose smiled and showed the note to Tommy. Tommy smiled.

"Do it, Rose. Just go up to his desk and say you don't feel good."

"You really think I should?" Rose asked.

"Think of Jack..." Tommy said.

Rose stood up and walked over to the teacher's desk. Luckily, she had a nice teacher.

"Mr. Andrews, may I please got to the nurse? I'm not feeling well," Rose said in a sick tone. She looked over at Tommy and he gave her a thumbs up.

"Of course you can, young Rose. Here," Mr. Andrews said as he gave her a hall pass.

"Thank you," Rose said as she left the classroom.

Once she got to the nurses office she spotted Jack and smiled at him.

"Yes?" one of the nurses asked.

"I feel sick to my stomach."

They took her temperature and said it was normal. They told her to eat some crackers and lay down on one of the cots. Of course, she laid right next to Jack.

"Hello beautiful," Jack said as she lad down on the cot next to him.

"Jack, you're so crazy! But, I love you."

"I love you too," Jack replied.

They chatted for a while until the nurses noticed they were feeling better. They dismissed them.

Jack and Rose left the nurses office together.

"I'll walk you back to class," Jack said.

Rose smiled at him, "Thanks."

Once they got to Rose's classroom Jack kissed her goodbye.

Jack walked back to PE, he couldn't believe how much he loved her.
