JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter Seventy-One

Rose was completely miserable. She couldn't even think straight. The cut she had gotten a few hours ago was really burning. She could barely talk above a whisper. She just watched as Tony sat there and starred at her.

"I bet you hope my brother will come and rescue you, eh?" Tony asked with a slight laugh. He was counting on his baby brother to come and save his girlfriend. All part of his master plan.

"Well," Tony started again. "Not to worry...We'll be leaving very soon. The car is almost packed."

"Where are you taking me?" Rose asked, barely audioable to hear.

Tony laughed. "Let's just say that we're leaving California."

Rose suddenly got more worried than before. How was she ever going to be saved when she was leaving the state? She really hated Tony. How could someone be so evil?

She just starred back at Tony. "We'll be leaving in a few minutes," he said as he got up from his chair and sat down on her bed. "Do you wanna have a little fun before we do?"

"I would never give my self willingly to a bustard like you!" Rose said, not caring if he got mad at her or not. Maybe she should have been a little more smarter. It seemed to make him even more mad than he was before.

He lunged at her, making her scream. Rose was tied tight to the bed, making it impossible for her to even attempt to fight him. She couldn't do anything. "It might be more fun this way," Tony said as he pressed his mouth against hers. "Well...for me anyway." He let out an evil laugh.

Jack and Tommy had been walking through the woods for quite sometime. Jack prayed that his friends were smart enough not to call the police. He had forgotten all about it. If the police were called, Jack knew his brother would kill Rose. That would be his final revenge. All that mattered what for Rose to be safe in his arms again. He didn't care how they got her back... As long as she was with him. Jack's guilt stuck to him and didn't seem to go away. If it wasn't for his stupid brother, Rose would be safe right now. That thought stayed in his mind as they continued to search for Jack's Rose.

"I can't find it anywhere!" Alexia screamed.

Alexia couldn't find her cell phone anywhere. She was also mad at Dominique for not having her's with her. This was probably the only way that they could help Rose, and they couldn't.

"It's okay, girls," Fabrizio said with emotion. "We know Jack. He'll save her. He always does."

~~~~~~~~~~
"Did that feel good?" Tony asked as he pulled his pants back on and buttoned his shirt. Rose was in a trance. She was in so much pain, both emotional and physical. Then, another thought hit her mind. What if she got pregnant? It could be Jack's or Tony's. She was in too much shock to think about that right now.
Tony leaned over and began to untie her. "It's time to go," he said. After he finished untying her, he told her to get dressed and then to come out to the car. Of course, she could try to run off, but what good what that do? Even if she got away, she knew Tony would get revenge on her and her friends. She couldn't let that happen.
Rose picked us her clothes that were scattered across the room. She quickly put them on, not wanting to make Tony more mad than he already was. She was so scared. What would he do next?
She opened the small door and took a look around outside. Yep, she was still in the same woods. She could tell just by the smell. Maybe Jack wasn't too far off?
Rose then noticed Alexia's cell phone in the back of Tony's truck. She knew it belonged to Alexia because it had her name on the top of it. Tony must have took it so that they couldn't call the police!
She saw that Tony was in the front seat, not paying any attention. She ducked down so he wouldn't see her. She knew calling the police would do no good. Tony would for sure kill her. Then...She got an idea. Call her own cell phone! She had left it in Dominique's van. Maybe someone was in it? Or maybe Jack had it. She had to try.
"Why do you have that thing anyway?" Tommy asked, looking at Rose's light blue cell phone.
"In case she calls," Jack replied. "You never know."
They had started to look for Rose all over. No sign at all. There was only one place they hadn't checked, by the lake. It was their last chance. Jack and Tommy knew it was a long shot.
Just then, the phone rang. Jack quickly picked it up. "Rose?" He asked, hoping with all his might that it was.
"Jack!" She replied back. He could barely hear her. Her voice sounded terrible.
"Rose...honey...where are you?" Jack asked, his body shaking with fear.
"I dunno..." Rose said. "He's taking me away from here...from California."
"You gotta tell me where you are, Rose," Jack said. "I'll save you...I promise."
Rose quickly looked around her. "I'm by some lake...please be careful."
Just then, Jack heard his brother take the phone. "Jack...is that you?"
Jack didn't know quite what to say to his older brother. He completely wanted Tony to pay for what he did. "Yes..." Jack muttered.
Tony laughed. "Good. I had a lot of fun with your girl...I mean, my girl."
"What the hell did you do!" Jack yelled. "Keep your hands off of her, you hear?! Don't you dare touch her..."
Tony laughed again. "A little to late for that, bro. I already showed her what I can do. Time is running out."
He hung up.
Jack cursed and hung up the phone. "We gotta hurry, Tommy," Jack said as he began to run up the hill to where the lake was located.
~~~~~~~~~~

Tony looked at Rose angrily. He put the phone on the ground and smashed it. "Now you won't be making anymore phone calls."

Rose looked at him and began to cry hysterically. She didn't know how to keep the tears from falling down her face. She was so scared...She needed Jack. She needed her angel.

"Now the little bitch is going to cry," Tony said with disgust. He pulled her by the hair and pushed her into the car, with her occasionally screaming. He walked over to the other side and got into his truck.

"Damn it!" Tony said. "I forgot the keys. Don't you dare go anywhere!" He got out of the car and ran back into the cabin.

Jack and Tommy had just made it up the hill when they saw Rose alone in Tony's truck. Jack ran even faster, finally reaching the car. Tommy tried to keep up with Jack, but was too tired to run any faster.

Rose had her eyes closed, obviously tired and worn out. Jack heard Tony come out of the cabin, and Jack quickly climbed into the back of the truck unseen.

Tony got into the car. "I finally found them," he said as he put his keys in and drove off.
