JACK AND ROSE: PRESENT TIME
Chapter
Eight
It was near
Christmas, and since it was Christmas vacation, the six of them were going to
Tonya's aunts beach house to stay for a few days. They would stay longer, but
they had to get back in time for Christmas Eve and such. Tonya's aunt wasn't
using it, so they had it to themselves. Some of their parents didn't approve,
so they had to tell them they would be chaperoned.
They all went in
Dominique's van she was borrowing from her mother.
"Turn it up, I
love this song!" Dominique said.
"This music
sucks, change the station," Tommy said.
Dominique was
driving, and Fabrizio was in the passenger side. Tonya and Tommy were in the
two seats behind them and Jack and Rose shared the very back.
"Hey you two,
get a room!" Tommy said as he looked back at Jack and Rose making out.
"Dominique,
you're mom's van is awesome, look at this," Tonya said as she
automatically closed the curtain on the window next to her.
"Cool,"
Tommy said as he did the same.
"Can we turn
on the TV Dom?" Tonya asked.
Dominique nodded,
and Tonya turned to CMT.
"NO! Not
country," Tommy said as he took the remote and put it on MTV.
"NO! That was
Faith Hill's new video, put it back!" Tonya said as she tried to grab the
remote.
"Both of you
shut up," Fabrizio said.
"How long
until we get there?" Tommy asked impatiently.
"About a half
hour..." Dominique replied.
Tommy sighed and
went back to trying to get the remote back from Tonya.
Meanwhile, in the
back.
"This is going
to be the best vacation ever!" Rose said to Jack after she took her lips
off of him.
"I know,"
Jack replied as he kissed her again.
As Tommy flipped
back to MTV, Rose said, "Backstreet Boys!"
Rose got up and
grabbed the remote from Tommy. "Leave it here."
"There goes
Rose again with her Backstreet Obsession," Tonya said.
"Rose, do you
think those guys are cuter than me?" Jack asked.
"Well...maybe
Brian."
Rose giggled.
"I'm just kidding, you are way cuter than them," she said as kissed
him.
As she was doing
that, Tommy took the remote.
Rose didn't seem to
care, she was back into the world of Jack, and only Jack.
"I love you so
much Jack."
"I love you
too."
"We turn here,
right?" Fabrizio asked as he pointed toward the small street.
"Yep,"
Dominique said as she turned into it.
As they were riding
past they saw the beach, and it was beautiful.
Once they got to
the beach house, they all got out of the car and stood in awe.
It was huge, and it
was one of the closest houses to the beach.
"CHRISTMAS
BREAK!" Tommy yelled as he ran to the door of the house.
They were going to
spend three days there, and they knew they would love every minute of it.
Jack squeezed
Rose's hand and gave her a smile, and she smiled back.
"The house is
huge!" Fabrizio exclaimed.
"This is gonna
be awesome..." Tonya said.
