SECRET AGENT DAWSON
Chapter Four

It was the early morning. Jack had to be at work at seven o'clock AM.

He had eaten some pasta and put it back in the fridge. Then took off his boxers and moved closer to Rose.

She was still asleep. She turned to face him and opened her eyes.

"Well, good morning, beautiful." Rose looked more pretty even in sleep.

"Good morning, handsome." Jack had a glow in his face. She saw it, and it made her happy, too.

He leaned closer and kissed her.

"So, Mr. Dawson, do you want breakfast?" She was about to get up, but Jack pulled her down.

"This early? It’s five o'clock AM, and I need some loving before I go to work."

"You have to work?"

"Yeah. My boss called last night. I came to tell you, but you were asleep."

"Sorry. I guess you really wore me out last night."

"Really?"

"Yeah. You were an animal."

"Well, that’s the first time I have ever been referred to as an animal."

"Really? The hell you say."

"Really, cara mia."

Then he eyed her like a cat going in for the kill. He started making growling noises.

"Jack, don’t."

"What?"

"Don’t attack me."

"Okay. Then I’m going to have my evil, dirty way with you."

"Yeah, well, you gotta catch me first."

She leaped off the bed and ran into the living room.

Jack cornered her. Boy, he was fast.

"Come on, Rose. Surrender?"

"Not without a fight."

He pushed her up against the wall.

She looked into his eyes. She brought his head toward her lips. Jack grabbed her legs.

"Jack, what are you doing?"

"You’ll see."

He put her legs around his hips. She grabbed him and led him into her. She was so hungry for him, she urged him on, their eyes never leaving each other’s, each gasping for breath. Jack’s face started to flush and Rose’s heart skipped a beat, both satisfying their carnal urges.

They ended up on the couch. Rose was laying on top of him.

It was now six o'clock.

Jack went to go take a shower. Rose was making breakfast.

Jack came out of the shower fifteen minutes later, headed to the room, and put on a suit that he got from the closet.

His hair was still wet, so he got the blow dryer. Not that he was gay; it was just that he didn’t like to get sick. His job required no illnesses, and he tried his best to not let that happen.

Rose finished making breakfast. The steak and eggs with orange juice lay on the table for Jack.

Jack put the final touches: his guns underneath his jacket, a knife on his right ankle, handcuffs in his back pocket, and he adjusted his tie.

He walked to the kitchen. Rose was wearing a cute little red dress.

"Well, someone’s looking hot," said Jack, strutting his new suit that he had never worn until now.

"Tell me about it, hunk," Rose said, teasing him.

"What? This old thing?" He pointed to his tie.

She went to hug him. She felt something bulging under his jacket.

"Jack, what’s this?" She opened his jacket.

She saw two guns and bullets linked to the jacket.

"Jack, I know you’re a security guard, but why all of this?"

"Rose, I need you to sit down."

"Okay."

"First, I’m gonna ask you a question. Then, I’ll explain this." He pointed to the guns underneath his jacket.

"All right."

"Rose, do you love me? I know we’ve only known each other for...what...almost two days? But in all honesty, I’m in love with you, Rose."

She looked into his eyes.

"You're serious, aren’t you?" she asked.

"Yes, Rose. Marry me?"

"Well, I wasn’t prepared for this, and so fast."

"I know, Rose, and I’m sorry."

"Okay. You got it, Jack. I’ll marry you." She had tears in her eyes. "I love you, Jack."

He went to her, and hugged her as she cried.

"Okay. Rose, now I have something to tell you. But you mustn’t tell anyone, ever. Swear on your life."

"Okay. I will."

"I am a secret agent for Omega 3. I have been working as an agent for five years. Before I met you, I was undercover in a weapons operation. I’m not a hired killer or anything like that. Although--I’m not gonna lie to you--I do what I have to do to survive."

Rose was in shock, but she still loved him.
