WHAT IF?
Chapter Nineteen
Rose slept over at Taryn’s house.
The next day, she went back to her house. She called a real estate agent and
planned to sell it in two weeks. She went around LA looking for a new house,
and found a perfect one. She moved her things to the new house. But instead of
staying there, she went to London with Piper and Rachel to move things into her
new flat. The tabloids already had stories about the breakup, but Jack and Rose
didn’t have any comments.

Rose bought furniture for her
flat. She was beginning to have a good time, but couldn’t get over the breakup.
The paparazzi took photos of Rose in London, shopping with sadness on her face.
Every moment of the shopping, she didn’t smile. She went to the store to buy
some food to cook, and she bumped into William, who was shopping for a couple
of things. They greeted each other with friendship. He talked to her and asked
how she was doing. He had heard about her and Jack’s breakup. She was shocked
to hear that he read the tabloids, but he had read it in the newspaper. She
asked him about his girlfriend, who he didn’t talk about that much. They talked
for awhile, then left.

Back at the house, the movers
brought in the furniture. They put the things in place and then cleaned up the
mess. They sat down and ate.

Back in LA, Jack moved into a
penthouse. He couldn’t stop thinking about Rose. He had made a mistake by
breaking up with her. He would look at their photos and smile at the pictures
of Rose.
But every time he saw a picture
of them together, he had to put it away.

After a few months had passed,
Jack got hooked up by Mike and met Cheyanne. They were together for over three
months.

As for Rose, she hooked up with
William. They got together again on his twenty-first birthday at his palace, as
did Piper, Rachel, Lisa, and Tara.

Piper became attracted to Harry.
They began to go out without people knowing. Rose and William kept their
relationship low profile.

Rachel hooked up with Tommy Ryan,
broke up with him, and then started dating Tobey Maguire. She had changed her
act and was more mature, as she recalled. Lisa and Tara got married, and they
lived in Rose’s old house, where she and Jack used to live.

Jack and Rose never saw each
other. They were dating different people, but it seemed that they still loved
each other and they would never get over each other.

"You have to move on with
your life and forget about the past. And then you’ll see your future,"
Rose quoted.
