WHAT IF?
Chapter Six
As the months passed, Jack moved in with
Rose, and she promoted her new album. Her album was up to number two on the charts.
Rose felt good about her album and her life. But as people found out about Jack
and how old he was, they began speaking about Jack and Rose’s relationship. The
paparazzi took a lot of pictures of Jack and Rose together, and even when they
weren’t together. As for Rose, she was furious that people talked about Jack
and his life.
On October eleventh, Rose celebrated her
nineteenth birthday with her family and friends. But she spent more time with
Jack after the beginning of the day. They went out to dinner and went to the
museum to see Jack’s drawings. Rose had a great time with Jack, and she hoped
to do it again.
Every time Cal turned the pages in a
magazine, he saw Rose with her new love, Jack Dawson. He was furious. He loved
Rose so much that he would do anything for her. But he knew that she didn’t
love him or want him. He decided to leave her alone--or would he?
A Week Later
Jack looked through a magazine filled with
houses. He and Rose had decided to move to a different house, up in the hills
where the paparazzi wouldn’t see them that much. That was where he found the
house. He called Rose.
"Rose, I found it!"
Rose came from the kitchen and sat next to
him. "Found what?"
"The house. It has four bedrooms, two
bathrooms, a pool, and a studio."
"Perfect. That’s the type of house that
we need." Rose kissed him on the cheek, then got up again.
"When do you think we can move?"
Rose asked.
"What about next month?"
Rose nodded her head. "All right."

Weeks went by, and Jack and Rose began to
pack. They got help from Garret and Jason, Garret’s friend. They moved their
things and unpacked things at the new house. Jack and Rose settled into their
new home. The house was like a mansion. It had a beautiful view and a nice,
shiny pool. Life for Rose was perfect. She loved it, and Jack felt the same
thing.
