Arlene was out of town for the night so Gabby took her bed. That morning when Gabby was getting ready to leave to go back to work on a final project she began to reach for Arlene's Secret Platinum deodorant. Tori screamed "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" sounding really grossed out when she seen this happen. Gabby said "What?" as she prodceeded to apply Arlene's deodorant. Tori was freaking out. "You don't use other peoples deodorant. Thats friggin gross!" she went on to say. Gabby explained that her and Arlene used each other's deodorant before and that Arlene wouldn't care. Tori accepted this, but thought to herself <i>"Arlene is gonna flip when she hears this gross shit."</i> The next day when Arlene returned to residence, Tori quickly brought up what happened with Gabby. Arlene said she didn't care, it was no big deal. Tori couldn't accept this. She never knew her friends were so gross. An incident later in the day really makes this story a weird one. While sitting in front of Arlene's desk, Tori had to brush her hair and grabbed Arlene's brush off the desk and went to it. Arlene was grossed out and asked "You're using my brush?!" to Tori. Tori seen nothing wrong with using Arlene's brush. This really threw Tori for a loop. Using the same hair brush as someone else was gross, but the same deodorant was okay? This is a mystery to me. I don't understand the reasoning behind that one. <p>* names changed to protect the disgusting people. <!--EndFreetext--> <!--EndImageGroup--> </td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"> <!--ImageGroup--> <img src="/images/images3/swirl1.gif" hspace="10" vspace="10" align="right"> <font size="5"></font> <p> <!--Freetext--><font size="6"><font color="orange"><b><i>The Beastie of Tanya Lake</i></b></font></font> <p>The summer of 1999 -- the summer of the beastie. One warm night a group of girls decided to take a walk down to Tanya Lake for a while. The water was like glass and it was pitch black. While on the beach the girls heard a noise. "glub glub......glub glub". After watching a bad horror movie about giant mosquiotos they joked about what the noise could be. The noise continued at regular intervals and began freak the girls out as they stood in silence listening. They joked that it was some kind of beast living in the lake and called to it. "Beastie....Beastie." They decided to leave the beach and come back tomorrow when it was light out to see what the noise really was. The next day two of them returned to see what this "beastie" was, but it couldn't be heard because it was too windy and there were too many waves on the lake. <p>The question lingered....what was that noise? One girl said it was water inside of one of the orange cones floating on the lake marking a boundary. But the noise was too loud to be water in a cone. They wanted to tell someone about this. They brought an older sister of one of the girls on a night just like the first time they heard the noise. Nothing happened. The girls decided to investigate more. A few days later they went to the lake when it was still light out, when the lake was like glass. They heard the beastie. The left the beach and continued on a trail going around the lake. Every time they would stop to listen for the beastie it would sound like it was right in front of them, really close to the shore. All along the trail, the beasite's noise followed them. Still the girls couldn't see anything that could make a noise like that. To this day, neither of the 5 girls has any idea what was making the sound of "the beastie".<!--EndFreetext--> <!--EndImageGroup--> </td></tr> <tr><td valign="top"> <!--ImageGroup--> <img src="/images/images3/swirl1.gif" hspace="10" vspace="10" align="right"> <font size="5"></font> <p> <!--Freetext--><a href="http://www.angelfire.com/movies/stcroix"><b><font color="yellow">BACK TO LORI'S VISION</font></b></a> <!--EndFreetext--> <!--EndImageGroup--> </td></tr> </table> </body> </html>
