Violent New World

Violent New World tells the near future story of a violent alien attack on humanity using a virus that is spread over earth causing it's inhabitants to go insane with violence, their skin gradually turning black. The story is told through a small group of survivors whose mission is to stay alive. As the story unfolds it becomes bigger and bigger. Most of society has either been killed, or infected with the virus. Violent New World is the first major project for University of Horror Productions. Violent New World promises to be one of the largest productions in no/low budget history. We plan to break many preconceptions of what can be done with a small budget and are planning to push the limits of digital technology. We have a great storyline and a promising cast. University of Horror Productions will be taking Violent New World all the way through distribution. Violent New World will be available for sale on DVD and VHS in winter of 2003. News

• Principal photography has begun on Violent New World so we are now getting in gear. Our first shoot was productive in the sense that we all had a chance to get warmed up for what will hopefully be a very quality finished movie. We have decided that we are now going to be using a form of story boarding for Violent New World to make production flow smoothly. Now that we are all in the flow of things next weekend should hopefully be very productive.
• Well week two of our shoot is in the bag and it went ten times better than our first shoot. Everything is coming along very well. The acting is getting much better thanks to our new acting coach, B.J. Trindle. The camera work was much more exciting, we gave the movie a more fast paced feel in the vain of Evil Dead and Dead Alive. But Kelly Thurman was the on the set hero this week. He pulled double duty as camera man and we put him in full make up as a Creeper thanks to the fact that we had no extras(We need extras!)(Please). Besides the fact that we had no extras, the shoot went smoothly(Besides the laughing problem which was mainly at the beginning of the shoot). Next week we look to have an even more productive shoot. Until then Fear the Mullet!
