FRANK FILLADUCIA (2009)

Say it with me! FILLADUCIA! FILLADUCIA!

This re-imagining of 2008's "It's Good To Have Friends Like Frank" tells pretty much the same story with some new twists, such as Frank being a former baseball pitcher.
In this version, Armand (now played by Tim Sabin) asks Frank to find out if his wife Teagan is having an affair in exchange for helping him get back in shape to rejoin the Major Leagues.

However, when the corpse of the town doctor comes rolling down the stairs to the basement where Frank is hiding, some new twists are afoot for the eccentric Frank.

Behind the scenes:

"I was never happy with the first 'Frank'," says Scott,
"so I decided to go back and re-write certain
parts of it, and then throw in some new scenes,
eliminate others, and change some characters."
Among the new characters are Frank's Coach, Elmer Riley. The cop is
known now as Larry L'Arlevesque (lar-luh-vesk).
Missing is Frank's duo of girlfriends. "I asked Jade Nikolov, and she turned
the role down. As to what happened to Sara Haberer,
only the Good Lord knows. So I eliminated those roles.
Making Frank a pitcher put a nice spin on the film, and gave some very sorely needed
character development to him. Tim, Scott, and Melissa all did
the bee's knees in their roles as well. I was very
happy with the results!"
"I always told myself I would never redo a film.
I broke my promise ONCE, and this is the only time I'm doing it!"
