Star Trek: The Next Generation: The Motion Picture (1992)

The year: 2269. Ordered by Starfleet to fly the USS Enterprise to the Klarfta Sector to explore a black hole, Commander William Riker (Scott) and Lt. Cmdr Data (Tim Arthur) have a pretty uneventful voyage until they make the mistake of flying the ship too close and getting sucked inside! Now trapped in a mirror universe, they run across a multitude of adventures, including battling still-evil Klingons, and running into a backwards version of themselves as they search for a white hole to get back to their own universe.

Behind The Scenes:

Coming 2 years before "Star Trek: Generations", the official first film of the Next Generation franchise, Scott doesn't have much to say fondly of this film.
"Way too cheap for its own good." he says. "Tim and I tried our best, but after all these years this film hasn't stood the test of time. Granted, there's a few scenes worth a laugh, including the ubiquitous transporter mishaps and the Klingon (General Scumbag), who looks like he made a killing on linoleum and carpeting to make his uniform out of."
