A Small Film About A Big Problem (2005)

A film told in the style of a poem, A Small Film About A Big Problem puts a lot of story into its 15 minute running time.
A group of friends who get together for a poker night find out that one of their own has made a deal with the devil. He must sacrifice people to ol' Scratch in exchange for personal success. When he is caught in the act of doing so and threatened to be killed, he renounces his pact, which of course royally pisses the devil off. Now with Satan going after the people in the house to exact revenge, the survivors decide to put up one last pitched battle at the place where the friend first sold his soul.

Behind The Scenes

"Disappointment." says Scott to sum up this film.
"The film turned out great. It was well photographed, the story was solid, the effects worked well. After filming, I decided to get a musician I knew who lived in Missouri to do the score for it. She got about halfway through it and lost all the music she had already laid down on her computer. I just decided to fire her after that. The film faded into oblivion."
