Scully And Mulder (1999)

The story:

Based on the hit TV series "The X-Files", this one features the misadventures of Marmaduke Mulder and Dr. Dianne Scully (in this film, they are the real-life characters the TV show is based on). Placed on vacation by Willard Skinner, they are forced to investigate the death of scientist Navel Humison, who had just created a deadly virus. Now, Scully and Mulder must get ahold of the virus before enemies Cigar-Licking Man and Greta Snarf get their evil mits on it.

Behind the Scenes

Scott's first feature-length film in 3 years also reunited him with Tim Arthur, who appears as Skinner.
"We had a decent cast with this one," Scott recalls. "Tim, Kristie (then Tim's wife), Melissa, and Scott Zimmerman, who portrays Navel Humison in voice only." Scott thinks the film was overall successful and is pleased with the results. "It would probably be something of an insult to the fans of the show, though."
