Biography
It is on decembre, 18th 1963, in
Shawnee, Oklahoama that William Brad Pitt came to this world. Pitt knew a quite normal
childhood ; his father Bill Pitt Worked in a truck company , and his mother , was a house
wife. Raised in a strong Baptist faith with his younger sister and brother, after high-school,
Pitt decided to go to college and graduate in advertising and graphic design. But two
weeks before he gratuated, Pitt quit college and drove to Hollywood, leaving all his
possessions in Missourri. The rest of the story, we all know it. Before being the
international star we all know, Pitt was a limo cahuffeur for strippers, human
chicken advertising for a restaurant. After a while, he got a recurent part in Dallas.
He also got a few part in small budget productions, such as Cutting class or Too young
to die ? . In 1991, Ridley Scott's Thelma and Louise will suddently launch Pitt's career.
A few years later, Pitt got a part in a melodramatic girls' move Legends of the fall and
thus became 'the sexiest man alive'. The same year, a much more interresting movie came
up with Pitt on top of the casting Interview with a vampire, an adaptation of Anne
Rice's best-seller, a reference of vampire stories.In 1995, Brad Pitt collaborated for
the first time with David Fincher's, Se7en was on of the bests 1995's movies. An
other of these bests movies was Terry Gilliam's 12 monkeys. Both those movies
showed that Pitt had come to a turning point in his career,finally using his acting
talents instead of his pretty face.
The recent release of Snatch was followed, about a month later, by another comedy : The
Mexican. In the first one, Brad Pitt has a small part, as a gitan boxer. In the second, he
plays opposite to Julia Roberts, which had made the delightement of the americans as it it by
now on the top of the box office US.
