Okay, so everyone is a hypocrite at one point or another, but when it comes to making money off of the public, movie theaters sure do have a confusing way of trying to keep America's youth from being "destroyed" by films. I'M not sure if it's the same in every town across the country, but in L.A., I am seriously pissed at what's going on!

So my friends and I go to see a movie that's rated R and we're not allowed in because we are under 18. Okay, whatever, they want to keep us from seeing what we see everywhere else anyway, fine. So we obviously fit in the ‘children' category...but do we pay a children's price? HA!!! We have to still pay an additional $3.50 as ‘adults'. So I said to myself, hold on, we pay as adults but we can't get into a supposed ‘adult' movie? I was so mad I had a heated debate with the manager for twenty minutes. We still had to pay the adult fee. I was annoyed thinking about it for the first half of the movie. I should have asked for my money back!

If movie theaters want to set a good example by not letting the ‘little ones' into the big, bad, scary movies, then please, don't confuse us youngsters by manipulating our minds and stealing our cash!!!
