Also over the weekend, the booster club had a reception honoring the FFA's seniors, they are Michael Lynn Tynes, Mandy Kerben, Nathan Steele, and John Kelly. We would like to thank the adults for making this possible. At the Dixie National Livestock Show the Franklin County FFA had the Grand Simbrah Bull and Heifer both owned by Samantha Zeigler. Also Kayla and Kristin Holland had the Grand Champion Santa Gertrudis Bull. 1998 National FFA Convention

The Franklin FFA Chapter was well represented at the 71st National FFA Convention! Students enjoyed speakers such as Robin Roberts and Baxter Black. The students attending were Michael Lynn Tynes, Melissa Monroe, Samantha Zeigler, Candice Jones, Amanda Shelton, Tabitha Lambert, Bridget Beach, Nathan Steele, John Kelly, and Steve Lofton. Each student learned a lot about the FFA, and what the FFA has to offer. It is great to "Make the Connection" from students to agriculture through the FFA.
