Ok, so here it is... the boring page about me! Anyway, I imagine that if you've made it this far, you've probably read my poems or stories or both and you are wondering about the diseased mind that created them.
It's a quarter to 11 at night right now, and I'm sitting at my computer thinking, "Hmmm, how the Hell can I make this any more interesting?" How about a celebrity-stlye bio? Hey, you never know what will happen in 20 years!

Ok, so that was my bio :) It's not very interesting right now, but that will all change once I'm famous! I want to be a famous author, but I've yet to write something that even I'm satisfied with. I have a novel underway that's shaping up to be quite good; in fact, it's the best piece I have partially written to date! But the progress is slow and it will probably never be finished. My longest work to date is a DragonLance fan-fiction that I'm writing for my best friend, Marnie. It's about twenty pages long at the moment, and growing exponentially. If I had to give an estimate, I'd say that's maybe 5% of the whole storyline, so what is that? (I suck at math, hold on...) Wow! I'm writing a 400-page short story! Too bad it'll never be published, eh?
I'm a big fan of music, in a sense. I love just about any instrumental piece of music - particularly anything by John Williams. This extends beyond the mere listening, however: I play piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone and, to a small degree, the oboe. Being in the school band was a huge part of my high school experience, and I have a lot of memories (both good and bad) from it. I played the clarinet every year in the band, finally becoming the section leader in my last year. I also volunteered every year for the Kiwanis Music Festival, which my band hosted at MacArthur auditorium. I wasn't at all thrilled at first to be on the stage crew, but it turned out to be one of the better jobs. The first two years I was a mere peon for Matthew, but Matt wasn't able to be there in his last year (my second last) so I was Head Honcho for half of the festival that year, and I was Head of Stage Crew for my last year. It was a blast, even though my crew slacked off and I had to do everything myself. But it was all worth it... because I got to wear one of the headsets. :) Talk about status! LOL!
I met my boyfriend, Jon, four years ago in drama class. We became friends almost immediately - something that's natural for him, but quite out of character for me, wallflower that I am. :) To make a (very) long story short, we only hinted at our true feelings over the time we've known each other. Then, finally, two months ago (May 2002) the whole truth was made known and we became a couple! :) C'est l'amour, non? :)
