Restoration: Inner Fender: Passenger's Side

Here's two before and after picture of the inner fenders. The driver's side inner fender basically looked the same as the passenger side. The only difference is, the passengers side has a major portion of it missing because of the battery acid the ran down the front. You never can find one of these in the junkyard that are in good shape; just about every truck had that problem.

In this picture the rust converter has been applied. This stuff turns rust into a strong durable black metal that will not rust anymore.

These pictures were taken after I made a new front portion with fiberglass. Fiberglass is a little tricky to work with but it really pays off after you get it on the right way.

This picture was taken after the inner fender was repaired and painted. The dent that you see towards the back is supposed to be there. It was put there so that the headers won't rub against it.
