FOR HIS COUNTRY

WESLEY BISHOP
1919 - 2003

By Dorothy Marie Bishop Manley
**************************
This page is dedicated to my Uncle, Wesley Bishop
World War 2 US Army Veteran who served his
country from August 13, 1942 until October 1945.
At this time, he was honorably discharged due to
permanent injuries recieved when he was wounded in
battle as he fought for our freedom.
He was a brave soldier fighting for his country.
He was and remains an inspiration to us all.
Although we lost him in 2003 we will always remember
his kind and gentle nature and his ability
to find some good in everyone despite the fact
he had lived his life since the war with an injury
that could not be changed.
We love him
and have missed him greatly since his passing.
