The Unfolding of Dani : Part One : The Walk

I don't feel like having a good first sentence here, so I won't. I don't want a second sentence either. And certainly not a 4th sentence.

Now then, *consults Sarah* Okay, this shall be told in first person, so we just lost our 5th sentence too.

"It all started", Dani wrote into her notebook, "on a horrible sunny day when we had nothing to do..."

*enter flashback here*

"Sarah! I'm BORED!!! And we're out of Jello, we already killed the Spice Girls, and the Toaster's with the repairman!" Maggie yelled

"Oh woe is us." Dani said sardonically.

"Chill, ladies, chill! I say we go on a little adventure...say, Walgreens?" Sarah said

A resounding chorus of "YES" echoed through the halls of the Mulder "Mansion". They packed their bags, and off they went.

They treked up the long hill, and decided to rest on the playgrounds of Juniper Hill elementary for a few minutes. Maggie and Dani were up on the monkey bars, but Sarah refused to join them, and sat timidly on a swing.

"Loony quakers away, hey-up! Hey-up!" Maggie exclaimed as she jumped off

"Doody hi, hi doody! On these monkey bars, we like doody!!!" Dani said, getting so caught up in her phrase that she fell from the monkey bars onto the gravel.

Sarah honked.

Maggie quacked.

Sarah mooed.

Maggie screwed.

Dani, completed the chord by singing "I've got a boo-boo."

"Aw...poor Danibelle." Sarah reached into Maggie's bag and brought out the First Aid kit, due to the fact that they got into so many stupid "accidents" that required minor medical attention.

"It's no MY fault I fell off the piano!" Dani said

"No, I'M the one who fell off the piano, you fell off the monkey bars." Maggie said

Dani looked up at the monkey bars curiously.

Sarah chimed in, "I fell off the piano, Dani fell off the monkey bars, and Maggie fell out the window, the window, the first story window and scraped her knee."

Maggie looked back where the window would have been curiously.

"Are we ready?" Sarah asked?

"All better!" Dani chimed in

The Walk to Walgreens had begun again.

The walk down the hill was trechorus, next to a busy street and on a steep decline. To make matters worse, they were all wearing long skirts (even Dani, who protested at first). Sarah went first, because she felt her trusty Doc Martins would show her the way. She made it all the way down.

Maggie came next. Her fairly new clunky white tennis shoes had little traction, and she was scared. Dani followed close behind, knowing her little feet would not hold ground as much as Sarah and Maggie's. Dani fell, and tumbled into Maggie. Maggie fell, and tumbled into Sarah. Sarah fell, and they all ended up in the middle of the street, on the yellow line.

Maggie jumped up, stuck her arm straight up, and started walking the yellow line. Dani joined her, followed by Sarahbellem in close persuit.

Maggie screamed while tearing down the street, "I CAN FLY!!!! IT'S A MILAGRO!!!", but then Dani caught up to her and "kindly" explained that she couldn't. Maggie slapped Sarah, and Sarah kicked Dani, and Maggie winced in pain because she just felt her foot come down, hard, on Dani's.

"What the bloody-" Dani exclaimed

"THAT'S MY LINE!" Sarah and Maggie yelled

Cars whizzed by.

"We finally made it to Walgreens." Dani wrote
