Pastor Rob was called to be the pastor of FBC on April 4, 1999. This is his first church. He is 29 years old, married with three children (Sarah, 12; Zachary, 8; Daniel, 8months; and wife, Valencia)
News flash! Pastor Rob and his wife Val had a baby girl in May, 2000. Her name is Chloe Elisabeth. And here she is.
He is a pipefitter by trade, and works for Professional Construction of New Orleans, LA.
He is a Graduate of Slidell Baptist Seminary, where he recieved the Doctor of Theology in March of 1999. He has been saved for 20 years, and was a member of Roseland Park Baptist Church of Picayune, MS which he attended for 27 years.
Bro. Herrin has taught two courses for Slidell Baptist Seminary's distance training school. These courses are "Hermaneutics" and "Dispensational Theology". He is currently working on a course on Baptist History for the Seminary.
