THOUGHTS to THINK ON

Words on Wisdom and thoughts following

JUDGMENT

Judgement means a stale state of mind. And mind always wants judgement, because to be in a process is always hazardous and uncomfortable. Be very very courageous, don't stop growing, live in the moment, simply stay in the flow of life.
This story happened in the days of Lao Tzu in China, and Lao Tzu loved it very much:

There was an old man in a village, very poor, but even kings were jealous of him because he had a beautiful white horse. Kings offerred fabulous prizes for the horse, but the man would say, "This horse is not a horse to me, he is a person. And how can you sell a person, a friend?" The man was poor, but he never sold the horse.
One morning he found that the horse was not in the stable. The whole village gathered and said, "You foolish old man! We knew that someday the horse would be stolen. It would have been better to sell it. What a misfortune!"
The old man said, "Don't go so far as to say that. Simply say that the horse is not in the stable. This is the fact; everything else is judgement. Whether it is a misfortune or a blessing I don't know, because this is just a fragment. Who knows what is going to follow it?"
People laughed at the old man. They had always known he was a little crazy. But after fifteen days, suddenly one night the horse returned. He had not been stolen, he had escaped into the wild. And not only that he had brought a dozen wild horses with him.
Again the people gathered and they said, "Old man, you were right. This was not a misfortune, it has indeed proved to be a blessing."
The old man said, "Again you are going too far. Just say that the horse is back ... who knows whether it is a blessing or not? It is only a fragment. You read a single word in a sentence - how can you judge the whole book?" This time the people could not say much, but inside they knew that he was wrong. Twelve beautiful horses had come.
The old man had an only son who started to train the horses. Just a week later he fell from a horse and his legs were broken. The people gathered again and again they judged. They said, " Again you proved right! It was a misfortune. Your only son has lost the use of his legs, and in your old age he was your only support. Now you are poorer than ever."

The old man said, "You are obsessed with judgement. Don't go that far. Say only that my son had broken his legs. Life comes in fragments and more is never given to you."
It happened that after a few weeks the country went to war, and all the young men of the town were forcibly taken for the military. Only the old man's son was left because he was crippled. T he whole town was crying and weeping, because it was a losing fight and they knew that most of the young people would never come back. They came to the old man and they said, " You were right, old man - this has proved a blessing. Maybe your son is crippled, but he is still with you. Our sons are gone forever."
The old man said again, "You go on and on judging. Nobody knows! Only say this, that your sons have been forced to enter the army and my son has not been forced. But only God, the total, knows whether it is a blessing or a misfortune."

Judge not, otherwise you will never become one with the total. With fragments you will be obsessed, with small things you will jump to conclusions. Once you judge you have stopped growing. Judgement means a stale state of mind. And mind always wants judgement, because to be in a process is always hazardous and uncomfortable.
In fact the journey never ends. One path ends, another begins: one door closes, another opens. You reach a peak; a higher peak is always there. Spirituality is an endless journey. Only those who are so courageous that they don't bother about the goal but are content with the journey, content to just live in the moment and grow into it, only those are able to walk in the total.

Wisdom and folly contrasted.

Wisdom has built her house,
she has set up her seven pillars,
She has slaughtered her beasts,
she has mixed her wine,
she has also set her table,
She has sent out her maids to call
from the highest places in the town,
"Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!"
To him who is without sense she says,
"Come, eat of my bread
and drink of the wine I have mixed.
Leave simpleness, and live,
and walk in the way of insight."

He who corrects a scoffer gets himself abuse,
and he who reproves a wicked man incurs injury.
Do not reprove a scoffer, or he will hate you;
reprove a wise man, and he will love you.
Give instruction to a wise man, and
he will be still wiser;
teach a righteous man and he will increase
in learning.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
For by me your days will be multiplied,
and years will be added to your life.
If you are wise, you are wise for yourself;
if you scoff, you alone will bear it.

A foolish woman is noisy;
she is wanton and knows no shame.
She sits at the door of her house,
she takes a seat on the high places of the town,
calling to those who pass by,
who are going straight on their way,
"Whoever is simple, let him turn in here!"
And to him who is without sense she says,
"Stolen water is sweet,
and bread eaten in secret is pleasant."
But he does not know that the dead are there,
that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

Proverbs 9:1-18

The varieties of gifts.

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be
uninformed. You know that when your were heathen, you were led
astray to dumb idols, however you may have been moved. Therefore
I want you to understand that no one speaking by the Spirit of God
ever says "Jesus be cursed!" and no one can say "Jesus is Lord"
except by the Holy Spirit.
Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there
are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties
of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in every one.
To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
To one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to
another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by
the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another
prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits,
to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation
of tongues. All these are inspired by one and the same Spirit, who
apportions to each one individually as he wills.

1 Corinthians 12:1-11

Interconnectedness

Now I know and I have moved into that space of knowing within my own I AM PRESENCE, the all that is. It is from this point that I affirm once again to myself... We are truly one spirit, one God but how many believe it. How many believe that they are GOD.

Why do we think of ourselves as a grain of sand amongst all the sand?

Why do we think of ourselves as a drop of water in the ocean?

Why do we think of ourselves as a piece of pie?

I would like to say this:

Why not think of ourselves as all the sand and every grain is within us?

Why not think of ourselves as the ocean and every drop is within us?

Why not think of ourselves as the pie and all the pieces of pie within us?

This brings in the teachings that Jesus said:

"Ye are all Gods, yet ye shall die as men."

(because we do not think as a Creator/God, we think like men/women)

As the Creator works 100% through us and is 100% a part of us, why do we only accept that we are a fraction of all that is, why not become a complete part of all that is. This may also address why we do not see ourselves as a healthy body, it may be because we somehow feel less than 100%, so the less than accepts imperfections and disease, disorder and so on. As we may change our thinking, our teachings, we may change our beliefs, our truth and our wisdom. This is called evolving along our path. Some may say this is not so, and so it shall be for them, others may reach up and stretch a bit, others may have past this point and everything is OK, for all is as it should be.

Blessings be, stretch out and reach a new understanding of all that is.

Words for Thought.

A Matter of Packaging

The man whispered, "God, speak to me" and a meadowlark sang. But, the man did not hear. So the man yelled, "God, speak to me!" And the thunder rolled across the sky. But, the man did not listen.

He looked around and said, "God, let me see you." And a star shined brightly. But the man did not notice. And the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle!" And a life was born. But the man did not know.

So the man cried out in despair, "Touch me God, and let me know you are here!" Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man, but the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.

Don't miss out on a blessing because it isn't packaged the way you expect.
