A bad day keeps getting worse for Mulder and Scully. They are stuck in some kind of a time loop, where sometimes Mulder gets shot and sometimes he doesn't, but always, the bomb goes off and they die. The loop won't end until they both don't die. They start to realize that things are amiss when memories start "bleeding" through from previous experiences of the same day.
