Afghans

This is a simple baby afghan that I made up with pastel scraps for a friends new baby.
I made this afghan for my Grandparents for their 66th Wedding Anniversary on March 13, 1999. It is from Liesure Arts Mile-A-Minute Afghans and is called Rosy Ribbons.
This afghan was made for a friends daughter for a wedding gift. It is called Rosegarden and is from Bernat's Floral Fantasy Leaflet #1411.
This lapghan was a housewarming gift for my brother-in-law. It's called Rustic Lap Robe and is from Mile-A-Minute Afghans from Liesure Arts.
Our neighbours received this afghan as a wedding gift last fall. It is a Mile-A-Minute pattern from Liesure Arts called Peaches 'N Cream.
I used up some scrap yarn that I had to make this afghan and my grandfather had it at his nursing home. He liked it because it is bright and helped him know that he was in the right room! He passed away in November 1999 and my son now uses the afghan.
This afghan is from the same pattern as the one above it but I only used 2 colors for this one.
I made this afghan a long time ago to use up some skeins of blue yarn that I had given to me. It's just variations of granny squares.
These matching afghans were for my twin nieces 3rd birthdays. They're from Liesure Arts Leaflet #2476 and are called Peaches 'N Cream.
I made this afghan up quickly for a new member of the family who arrived too big for the little sweater set that I had made!
I made this afghan to donate to Project Linus. The yarn was given to me and I thought that a teenager would enjoy the bright colors!
This afghan was made for Project Linus using square #4 from the ASN book "101 Crochet Squares".
This afghan was made for Project Linus using scraps of yarn leftover from other projects. I knit the squares on the diagonal in garter stitch and then crocheted an edging around each one in black. It made a great looking blanket for a sick child!
This afghan is called Blueberry Cobbler. It's supposed to look like blueberry cobbler with scoops of vanilla ice cream on top. It is a Mile-a-Minute pattern from Liesure Arts that I made for a cousin's wedding.
