Serena: Sometimes the hardest thing in the world is believing in yourslef, especially when your grades are, ehh, less than stellar, or you're kind of clumsy. But you never know what the real you can do, set your mind and heart on it and anything is possible.

Serena: It's fun imagining being a movie star or a rock and roll idol. All that attention, money, and fam but it's no good trying to be someone you're not. What makes a real star isn't about fame or money, but being the best person you can be and feeling good about yourself. Being a star in your own light is what really counts. Right, Luna?

Luna: You said it. If you'd only practice what you preach, Serena.

Serena: It's hard being brave, I know. But there are lots more ways to be brave than fighting monsters from the ngaverse like telling the truth when it really matters, or standing up for someone who is totally geeked out in embarassment, or doing what's right when you know it's not anything you want to do.

Luna: You mean like doing homework that's been stuck up on your bed?

Serena: Homework heroic? No way!

Episode-"Smart Payoff"

Serena: Jealousy can be a terrible monster. It can make a really nice person cruel and shortsighted.

Rei: Everyone gets jealous sometimes because of something someone else owns, like a brand-new bike, or because they're more popular, or...

Serena: Or because they stole someone else's boyfried!

Amy: The point is; you can't let things like that eat you alive.

Serena: Right! There are too many other great things going on. Sailor Moon says, remember!

Serena: Ahhh! I hate thunder!
Raye: Yeah, but there's got to be a better way of dealing with your fears than just screaming your head off!
Ami: I own up to what I'm afraid of and try to understand why it's making me scared.
Lita: Because knowlege is power and if we understand what's making us scared it helps make it go away especially when we learn there's nothing to be afraid of.
Mina: I like to talk to my mom because she's afraid of the same things I am. It makes me feel better.
Serena: Lots of adults are scared of things too, so, talk to them, it helps.

Serena: Love charms, crystals, and horoscopes can be a lot of fun, but don't take them too seriously.
Ami: You said it, I count on myself to set my own destiny, not some goofy charm.
Mina: Right, you're the one who makes it happen.
Lita: It's your life to do with what you want.
Serena: Set your goals and go for them!
Ami: Right, a charm or a crystal isn't going to get your homework done, you are.
Serena: Still, if this love potion can get Darian back, I'll drink a hundred of them!
All the girls: Serena! I don't believe you! Come on, give us a break!
Luna: Hmmph, that Serena.

Serena: There's a lot more to good manners than knowing how to walk properly, or eat politely, or dance well. You know, really good manners are about how you treat other people...
Ami: And that means with respect and consideration.
Mina: If you see someone struggling with a grocery bag or a parcell offer to help.
Raye: That's what the Sailor Scouts would do and so should you!
