Not Alone
He has walked that mile, no one should tread
The spirit is strong, but he voiced his dread,
His body is weakened, but the laughter remained,
Treatments were given, and his body was drained.
The sickness was defeated, and after affects were there,
More surgery he faced, it just was not fair!
Encouragement is given, by all that he knows
Weary in his body, depression settles, and then grows.
A man like this, should physically be touched,
By all of his friends who love him so much
A comment is given, the wildfire spreads
The people, who love him, have thoughts in their heads.
We want something special to send to his side,
He voiced a want, we all could provide,
Friends came together, gathering all they could,
Encouragement, love, and a package so he understood.
He means so much to us, for many reasons,
His illnesses has lasted through many of the seasons,
His strength and his will has brought him this far,
We want him to know, he is a bright shiny star.
(Tipper this is for you, from all of your friends)
