~*~Sabbat Experiences~*~

*My most memorable experience was Ostara 1999, when I did my first ritual. I was a relatively new Wiccan, not yet dedicated, but felt it was the right thing to do! I did a simple ritual, but now that I think back on it, I really wasn't very prepared. I should have waited for a bit longer, I think. But it was a good learning experience, and you need to learn sometime! So I can't wait till next Ostara for more practice!

*I have been only studying wicca and Paganism for a year now by book. I am 16 1/2, but have realized that I have believed in all of this my whole life. When I was little, I even went up to my dad and told him that God and Mother Earth were married because it only made sense that there was both male and female. I was small at that time, but those were my thoughts.

I don't just believe in Wicca and Paganism, but many other religions. I am a witch, but I take little things from other religions because they make sense to me. Everything is connected somehow.

Anyway, my experience is during Mabon, my friend and I were celebrating and an apple was a part of the celebration. I made my wish for the world with every bite I took and had to throw it somewhere. I felt that the earth would be the best place for mine while my friend thought that water was the best for hers. So, I threw mine into the fields and as I was walking away, I felt very cold and a bad presence. So, with my minds eye and my hands I drew a pentagram to banish negativity and one to call upon all good things. When I threw my hands back to send them to the field to protect my apple core in order to bring all the good things I asked for for the world, a gust of wind surrounded me and went to the field and I became warm and comfortable again. Everything was peaceful and that was one of the first times I really felt my power to bring peace to the world.
