Elizabeth
Davidson:
Elizabeth's enthusiasm
is catchy as she teaches even the most uninspired beginner to sing in
tune. She has been studying voice and singing in public since she was
9 years old. She has an extensive repertoire and is able to teach many
styles of music. Elizabeth holds a degree from the University of Toronto
in Music & Italian and also from Queens (Vocal performance). Elizabeth
is currently involved in Musical Theatre. Elizabeth teaches on Mondays
and Thursdays and heads up our Adult Vocal Ensemble on Monday evenings.
Rebecca
Hass:
Rebecca is the newest
addition to our teaching staff. She attended Wilfrid Laurier University,
completing an Honors Bachelor of Music with a major in vocal performance.
Rebecca has performed Opera and Braodway music across Canada and the United
States and spent four years as an artist in Residence with the Canadian
Opera Co.Ensemble She also has sung leading roles with many other Opera
companies. Her awards include scolorships from the Canada Council, San
Francisco Opera Merola Program and the Chalmers Award form the Ontario
Arts Council. Not limited to classical works, Rebecca also employed her
love of the Broadway musical in performing with the Toronto cast of the
Phantom of the Opera. She has a great passion for musical performance
and teaching it to her students. Rebecca enjoys teaching adults as well
as children and is at the studio on Wednesdays.
