On carrying out the assignment of Jewish communities to new recruit districts in Podolia gubernia.
THE EMPEROR, on the 24th day of October of this year, was pleased to imperially order:
with an eye to cutting off the possibility for Jews to evade recruit obligations and
for the [bezdoimochnago] fulfillment of levies, carry out in Podolia gubernia
the assignment of Jewish communities to new recruit districts, so that the communities will be added
to recruit districts of the uezds in which they reside.
