Do it any way

We live in a mean curel world... full of sin and bad things... this what we see on the news every night. ... It is a dog eat dog type of world. ... people are hating, killing, stealing, lying, cheating, cursing, drinking, and doing drugs all the time.  One might wonder why try, there is so much bad in the world.

 

 

ANYWAY

People are unreasonable, illogical and self centered - Love them anyway

If you do good, people will accuse you of self ulterior motives - do good anyway

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies - suceed anyway

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable - be honest and frank anyway

The good you do today will be forgotten tomarrow - do good anyway

The biggest people with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest mind - think big anyway

People favor underdogs but only follow top dogs - fight for some underdogs anyway

What you spend years building may be destoried overnight - Build anyway

Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth - Give the world the best that you have anyway.

 

Sure People are unreasonable, illogical and self centered - Love them anyway.  Who knows by your love they may be able to become a better person.

 

Rom. 12:19-21

 

It may seem hard to turn the other cheek and it may not seem right to you but do it any way.  That way you will be laying up treasures in heaven.  Remeber the Lord said "Vengence is mine"

 

1Jo 3:14 ¶ We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

 To love is to be concerned.

 Ga 6:1 ¶ Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.  2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

 

 Jas 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;  20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

 

 Sure If you do good, people will accuse you of self ulterior motives - They often say that he is trying to be a do gooder for the praise of men, ect.  And yes the good that we do today will be forgoten by people.  Tomarrow they may not remember the good you did today and for sure the next generation will not remember.  Do good anyway for our Lord has called us to do good.

 

 Ga 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

 

 Heb 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

 

 1Pe 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

 

 Jas 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

 

Sometimes the law of the land seems foolish or hard.  Sometimes they seem unfair. But for concience sake and righteousness keep the law anyway.

 

 Ro 13:1 ¶ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.  3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

 

 

Sure being Honest and frank make you vulnerable .  It may cost you.  At least we think that it will cost us.  Still honesty is the best ploicy.  To not be honest could cost you your soul. So be honest anyway.

 

 Ro 12:17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.

 

 2Co 8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

 

 2Co 13:7 ¶ Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

 

 1Pe 2:12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

 

Rev. 21:8  ....... all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

 

You may think that being a Christian is a foolish thing with no real reward.   But to have eternal life you have to be one.  So be a christain anyway.

Mat. 16:24-27

 

You may think that you can not live the christain life.  Or that you can not live up to the expectations.  Try any way.  You may think that to live forever is too big a dream and beyond hope for you.  Hope anyway.  Remember Abraham hoped against hope and it came true.

 Mt 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

 

 Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

 

You can to.

 

You may not understand why you have to be baptized.  You may not know how the water does anything or that this will affect anything.  Do it anyway for this is what God said do.
